A Selection of useful 3D printed parts. These are typically parts that people have requested to be made available. It is important to recognise that 3D printed parts are typically prototypes. Having said that I have road tested these parts, for over two years. It is my intent that these parts will be produced using CNC. For now they are for sale for riders and builders to trial them, and perhaps feedback their thoughts to enable eventual products that are substanially stronger.
The 3D printed parts supplied are manufactured using polymer-based materials suitable for non-structural, non-safety-critical applications on motorcycles. These components are not equivalent in strength, impact resistance, or durability to metal or conventionally manufactured parts.
Intended Use:
- These parts are intended for cosmetic, functional, or light-duty applications only.
- They must not be used in any safety-critical system, including, but not limited to, braking, steering, suspension, engine mounting, chassis, or load-bearing assemblies.
- Modifications, including drilling, filing, or finishing, must be carried out with extreme caution, using low-speed tools and minimal force. Failure to do so may result in cracking, breakage, or other structural failure.
Risk Acknowledgment:
By purchasing, installing, or using these components, the owner expressly acknowledges that:
- Use of the parts is entirely at the owner’s own risk.
- David Clough accepts no liability for injury, death, property damage, financial loss, or any other consequence arising from the use, misuse, or failure of these parts.
- The purchaser is solely responsible for determining the suitability of the parts for their intended application, including compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and road safety requirements in the United Kingdom or other jurisdictions.
Warranty and Liability:
- All components are supplied “as-is” with no express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity with statutory safety requirements.
- David Clough explicitly disclaims all liability for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, whether foreseeable or not, resulting from the use, handling, or modification of these parts.
Recommendation:
Owners and installers must exercise due care and professional judgement at all times. These parts are supplementary or replacement items only and must never replace certified, safety-critical motorcycle components.
