Well the light nights came - and despite being tired from the change of clocks I decided to go to the Garage to do a couple of small jobs on the D1. Clutch cable was sorted, then onto the front brake cable. Sorted. If the split link comes then we will have an engine run at the weekend.

Sunday 7th April 2019
Rode first for a cuppa to Nicks, then onto meet Simon and we rode to the Jolly Sailor at Ramsey, where after a few minutes Yorkie and George met up and we spent a pleasent hour chatting. I then rode in fog, and very light rain to the Golden Lion at Stonea and had a pint of coke before riding back in heavier than forecast rain. Arrived back home and it was dry. Proceeded to strip the heavily painted D1 tap and have after much research ordered new corks.

Getting my knickers in a twist re the T140 and its stator - I am 90% sure its fitted with a two phase stator, but 1978 was a switch over year, and according to the junkies on FB i should have pos earth, three phase. I have neg earth. So going to try and sort today.
I talked with Simon, and I am ordering two phase reg/rec and some minor parts for simons bike. Plan to try and fit this coming bank holiday weekend. Met Simon and we rode the long way via the old A1 to meet up with George at the sailors. It started to rain, so bike was cleaned and returned to the Garage. Later in the afternoon I took the B175 for a spin, called into the Sherwoods and then on the way home took this photo.
