Monday 1st October 2018
Blimey, somebody turned the lights out. For the first time this year I had to wear a full face helmet, and two layers of clothing. Used the heated grips and will have to remember to put the battery on charge this weekend should i use them again.

Rode the sprint in heavy rain to Leeds for winter storage, and it poured down. Caught the train back, tomorrow its the 40's weekend.
Sunday 7th October 2018
Rode the C15 to the Cross Keys, and had a worrying moment. I over filled the petrol tank, and for a moment thought I had a fractured tank. Not to be, i had simply over filled it and put the bike on the side stand. Caught Jerry and Yorkie up. Had a wonderful time, walked round with Andrew Stimson. Photographed the C15 next to an even older bus. Then came home and made some brackets for the C15 rear rack. Will hopefully finish them tomorrow, as I do not have to report into London. I am riding the Kawasaki to MK.
Tuesday 9th October 2018
Rode on the Er5 to the Whittlesea MCC, mild but dark night. Won't be doing that again soon. Too Dark. Making shopping list for Stafford this weekend. Ordered the Rigid Frame for the C15.
Thursday 11th October 2018
Rode the C15 to the Abbotts Elm pub, only bike there. Rode home with no headlight, struggled. Never again.
Saturday 13th October 2018
Went with Simon to the Stafford show, some eye openers couple of Bantams, and an M21 caught my eye. Along with large lycette seats. Bought some new oil feed lines for the C15. and the securing nuts.

Actually found some information out about the C15 rigid frame I have bought.
Tuesday 16th October 2018
Went to St. Ives in the afternoon, pre the dental appointment I rode to Hemingford by the river. TBH I couldn't get the photos as nice I would have liked due to being approached by a Motorcyclist enthusiast. My results are below. I throughly enjoyed riding the C15, and look forward to completing its transformation into something slightly different.
Thursday 18th October 2018
Spotted what I thought was going to be a promising sunset, quickly jumped out of the cage and got the 66 D7 out and took the following photo.
Saturday 20th October 2018
Spent the best part of the morning trying to fix the C15 headlamp wiring. I failed, sure I identified the cause, a bad crimp on the cable feed. However I ran out of time. I was desperate to ride my T140 to the coffee shop in Wadenhope. Truly a lovely run out. Below is a gallery of my time in the saddle today.
Sunday 21st October 2018
Spent the afternoon going round the Hemmingfords on the C15Gallery below.
Tuesday 23rd October 2018
Spent the late afternoon putting the B175 together, had a fiddle of a job sorting the rings out, but plenty of oil and patience sorted it. Pancake filter and bits left to do. But will hopefully sort it over the next week or so. Still early days re the re-bore. Still feels more powerfil than my D7. Below is the video of the bike running.
Friday 26th October 2018
Rode to the Old Barn with Brian on his BSA Lightening. Bike went well, upon returning i spent the rest of the day sorting out long overdue tasks on the C15. Rear brake light was fixed, frayed wire. Checked the head bolts, and generally gave it a good looking at. Noticed the top of the shock bolts needed tightening. Had forgot how unforgiving and harsh the sun was at this time of year. It was without doubt exceptionally cold.
Saturday 27th October 2018
Well I resigned as the regional co-ordinator for the BSA Bantam Club, and rode to Ramsey Great Whyte to meet the lads from TOMCC and Whittlesea to donate kit that was left over from another earlier iniative. Went on the C15, Andy pointed out that it had no air in the front, and very little in the rear. Gauntlets compressor soon sorted that out. Later in the day, sheltering from the rain I fitted the choke cable and the carb back onto the B175. Heavy rain prevented me from testing the bike. Hope to do that late Sunday post returning from Leeds.
