Friday 8th June 2018
Met Ants at the B660, rode the 250 to the Green man at Leighton Bromswold, then onto fuel at Spaldwick. Returning home we called into the Admiral Wells only to find it closed. All in all nearly 70 miles. Returned home to tighten the head bolts, then glue the front plates together. Moved onto getting the Bantam ready for Sundays meet. Going to wash and clean it tomorrow. All in all a lovely day. Oh, started tidying the garage.

Fantastic night, T140 broke down loose cable to the battery. Many laughs. I do need to secure the battery to stop is moving whilst riding thank god it worked after a break down. Leighton Bromswold - the Green Man. Wonderful pub.

Tidied the garage, for the first time I can see to more BSA Motorcycles.
Saturday 16th June 2018
busy day, took the T140 to Barry in Gravely for its last ever MoT - passed. Then took a look at the front cog on the C15. Dissapointed to report it had a 17 tooth. I will order a 19 tooth. Later that day I blew the head gasket.
Sunday 17th June 2018
Spent the best part of the morning stripping and rebuilding the T140, will have to see If I can get someone to fix it, deffo head blown.

Wed 20th June 2018
BSA 250 - struggled to sort the front drive cog. Have ordered parts, new rollers, and a longer chain. Lets hope it works. Need to lift the needle as the plugs are "sooty".
This evening I rode to the Royston Bike Show. Not terribly impressed. £5 entrance, and battered sausage and chips for dinner. Ate them on the church wall in Huntingdon. Slow service.
Thursday 21st June 2018
Noticed that the Er5 headlamp was not working, and that the high beam lamp was very bright. On even when not on high beam. Anyways I lifted the petrol tank, and cleaned up an earth point and repaired the headlamp connector plug. Sorted. I love my Kawasaki.
Friday 22nd June 2018
Tightened the chain on the Kawasaki Er5, and prepped the ST for a hopeful run to the Coast in the morning. Getting concerned about the exhaust headers.
Saturday 23rd June 2018
Headed to Wells on the Sprint, the bike still has the ability to put a smile on my face. Will feed a 12v connector into the top box to charge the phones and GoPros. Added to my list of things to do.
Sunday 24th June 2018
Very warm day - spent it travelling by Train to Leeds. Then this evening completed the clutch rebuild. Always challenging the first time you try anything thats as fiddly as this was.

Well as ever a lovely run out tonight with Brian. The observant might just spot a forecourt rubber glove stuffed into my gearbox filler hole. As chopper clough topped up the oil and forgot to put the dipstick in. I Really need to check timing and re strobe it’s bogging down far too early in the cycle range so that’ll be ordered and I’ll give some thought on performance tweaks post timing and jet checks. Rupert Ratio has written an excellent C15 bible, not looking to win any races but it do need 20% improvement on its flat road figures. Arrived back gone half past ten totally reliant on the lights. Typical Brit iron lighting. Two options. One shit candle or one shit candle. That aside I could have easily just kept riding. If I’d had my passport to hand I just might have.
